Anatolia, the ancient geography where abundance and agriculture have come to life for thousands of years… The agricultural heritage of these lands continues to be brought to kitchens through carefully selected wheat by Sunar Flour. The foundation of this journey was laid with the strong commitment to the soil and production held by senior agricultural engineer Hacı Nuri Çomu. By stepping on the same soil as the farmers, our founder did not just cultivate products like wheat, corn, and sunflower; he transformed them into value-added industrial products.
Established in Osmaniye in 1976 with a visionary production approach, Sunar Flour—one of the first industrial investments—quickly became a significant production center. Today, with Turkey’s most modern facilities, an annual production capacity reaching 150,000 tons, and its rise in the ISO Second 500, it is one of the leading organizations in the Turkish flour sector. Providing employment to its region with a team of approximately 50 people, Sunar Flour pushes sector standards forward in quality and efficiency through its philosophy of continuous investment and improvement.
Wheat meticulously selected from Turkey’s fertile regions is processed through food-safety-compliant and environmentally sensitive processes, transforming into various flour types for bakery, pastry, and household use. Drawing strength from tradition, Sunar Flour continues to be a reliable solution partner for professionals and consumers alike. This comprehensive production culture and commitment to continuous development paved the way for the Sunar Investment Group—of which Sunar Flour is a part—to create an integrated industrial ecosystem that supports domestic production and operates in fields such as food, feed, oil, starch, and biopolymers today. Hacı Nuri Çomu’s vision, which respects the soil, befriends the farmer, and prioritizes sustainable production, is our fundamental principle that brings our products together with quality and trust.
