The foundations of Sunar Investment were laid through the deep commitment to the soil, the farmer, and production held by Hacı Nuri Çomu, a senior agricultural engineer originally from Darende, Malatya. This journey, which began at a young age in the field of agriculture, transformed into a visionary industrial approach that blended knowledge with labor.
Recognized for his industriousness and philanthropic identity, our founder—a recipient of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) Distinguished Service Award—left behind lasting works in the fields of education, health, and social welfare, while maintaining his devotion to the farmer and the land throughout his business life. Stepping on the same soil and witnessing the same seasons as farmers across Turkey, Hacı Nuri Çomu established facilities that transformed basic agricultural products such as wheat, corn, sunflower, soybean, and canola into added value—not only in production but also in industry.
